Join us for an engaging and informative session exploring the origins and evolution of LGBTQ+ Pride, with a special focus on the Metro Detroit area. Discover the stories behind Pride parades, the activists who paved the way, and the significance of continued support for LGBTQ+ individuals—not just during Pride Month, but every day of the year. This session includes an open Q&A, providing space for thoughtful discussions on past and current events impacting the LGBTQ+ community.

Your Presenter: Ian Unger

Ian Unger is a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ education, empowerment, and inclusivity. With years of experience fostering safe spaces for identity exploration and open dialogue, Ian has become a trusted mentor, particularly for LGBTQ+ youth navigating their personal journeys. His advocacy work focuses on increasing awareness, building community support, and driving meaningful change.

Beyond his activism, Ian is deeply involved with Twisted Willow, a company that aligns with his passion for holistic wellness, self-care, and community connection.
